When the Good Die Young

Good...because he was an amazing DJ. As I am sure you have already heard, DJ AM (born Adam Goldstein) died Friday from what appears an apparent drug overdose. DJ AM gained fame from being a celebrity DJ and most recently survived a plane crash along with pal, celebrity drummer Travis Barker just a few months ago. DJ AM had a well documented drug addiction and supposedly had kicked the habit and had been drug-free for years, even swearing off cigarettes. MTV was even set to air a new reality program called "Gone Too Far" in October starring DJ AM and families of drug abusers staging interventions. However, when the police broke through AM's door Friday, a crack pipe and prescription pills were found in the residence with no signs of foul play. We as a society have lost SO MANY young talents to drugs, excess and divine circumstances such as Aaliyah, Left Eye, Biggie, Tupac, James Dean, River Phoenix, Kurt Cobain, Heath Ledger etc... When will this end? This is an extremely sad end to what seemed to be a very promising career of a professional SURVIVOR. Anyway, you'll see what I'm talking about. Well without further ado, watch the video:
